Silverback Awards 2024 Virtual Launch

Uganda Advertisers Association in partnership with Loeries and Uganda Marketers Society (UMS) Announces the Return of the Silverback Awards 2024.

The Uganda Advertisers Association (UAA), in partnership with Loeries and the Uganda Marketers Society (UMS) is proud to announce the return of the highly anticipated Silverback Awards. This prestigious event, now an integral part of the media and advertising calendar, is set to recognize and celebrate the exceptional achievements of brands and creatives in the media and advertising industry.

The Silverback Awards are renowned for bringing together industry leaders, innovators and trailblazers to honor their hard work and excellence in curating and executing outstanding campaigns and adverts for their clients. These awards serve as a platform to showcase the best in advertising and marketing, reflecting the creativity, innovation and strategic thinking that drives our industry forward.

This year’s theme: “Innovative Sustainable Marketing: Harnessing Ethics, Impact, and Profitability in the Digital Age,” underscores the critical importance of ethical advertising and marketing practices that not only drive profitability but also have a positive impact on society and the environment. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, this theme invites participants to explore the balance between innovation, sustainability and ethical responsibility in their strategies.

The awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, 23rd November 2024, and promises to be an inspiring event, showcasing the very best in advertising and marketing from Uganda. We look forward to receiving your submissions and celebrating the outstanding achievements of our industry.

Submissions for the Silverback Awards 2024 will officially open on 12th August 2024. We invite all brands, agencies and creatives to submit their best work and join us in celebrating the power of impactful advertising.
